Summary

St Paul’s Cathedral stands at the centre of London and has overlooked the city since 604 AD. It the largest and most recognised of Sir Christopher Wren’s work after the Great Fire of London.

St Paul’s famously survived the Blitz of the 40s.

The church has Britain’s greatest heroes lying here including the Duke of Wellington, victor at the Battle of Waterloo and Admiral Nelson victor at the Battle of Trafalgar. Christopher Wren is also buried here with the wording – ‘if you seek his monument – look around you.’
