Wren300 Primary Schools Programme

There is so much to learn from Sir Christopher Wren’s life and work. More than any other, this national figure shaped the City of London we see to today.

Our free national-curriculum linked KS1 and KS2 learning programmes inspire pupils to explore the rich fabric of their city and uncover Wren’s part in the story of 17th century London. Through cross-curricular, facilitated learning, storytelling, hands-on activities, interactive workshops and guided walks with experts, they will develop new skills, discover new historical concepts and see the City of London through new eyes.

Wren, Rebuilding and the Great Fire of London

Children step into Wren’s shoes as they learn about the Great Fire and his rebuilding of London, explore his phenomenal buildings and discover his achievements and impact on their city today.
